One jewel is the extensive waterfall and rapids complex at Cenarth Falls. The river has a great reputation for fishing,  with abundant stocks of salmon, trout and grayling. In the autumn, salmon can be seen leaping near the 200-year-old bridge.

Near the falls, the Coracle Museum displays traditional light-weight boats of bent sticks and waterproofed hides.  Few fishermen use coracles nowadays, but many love the challenge of paddling them. The annual coracle races attract competitors from all over the world.
