Here are our holiday cottages near Penbryn on Cardigan Bay. Penbryn, Ceredigion is situated between the bays of Tresaith and Llangrannog so holiday cottages near Penbryn beach will give you access to all three of these beaches, all with their particular charm. The National Trust owns the beach at Penbryn and they manage the car park about 400 metres from the beach, where there’s a café and public toilets. If you need to drop off some of the family and equipment right near the beach, there is a turning circle at the bottom of the hill. Instead of walking down the road, you can then take the woodland route along the edge of a steep-sided valley.
The golden sand stretches almost a mile and there’s an impressive cave at the north end. Of course, Penbryn cottages are within easy reach of the Ceredigion Coast Path and many other beautiful inland walks. For your self catering needs, there is a large Londis shop and garage not far away on the A487 at Brynhoffnant and there are also a couple of pubs in that village as well as the popular Ship Inn at Tresaith, not to be confused with the Ship in Llangrannog, where you’ll also find the Pentre Arms.
