Overlooking beautiful rural scenery with views of Cardigan Bay, Croes-y-Bryn is a stone-built, detached period cottage that has been sensitively refurbished. It is well-appointed throughout to ensure that you have a
comfortable stay.
The cottage is close to the beautiful Blue Flag beach of Tresaith with its picturesque waterfall and the stunning National Trust Green Flag beach of Penbryn, a stroll away through native woodland. The attractive villages and beaches of Llangrannog to the north and Aberporth to the south are also within easy reach. It provides the ideal base for those wanting a family beach holiday, for walkers wanting to explore this part of the spectacular Wales coastal path or for visitors looking to relax and explore this beautiful, unspoilt and peaceful area. The National Cycle Network also passes close to the cottage.
The nearby market town of Cardigan (Aberteifi), offers a range of facilities, including several excellent restaurants, cinema, theatre, children’s playground, swimming pool and leisure centre and tennis courts. It provides a wide variety of individually owned shops selling local produce and crafts and several supermarkets.
Dolphin-spotting boat trips, kayaking, surfing, fishing, horse riding, and golf are just some of the many different activities in the area. Visitors can also enjoy fascinating days out to historic sites, including Cardigan and Cilgerran Castles and the delightful National Trust mansion of Llanerchaeron. The area is rich in wildlife, and a visit to the Welsh Wildlife Centre on the River Teifi, with the chance to spot otters, kingfishers, and oystercatchers, is really worthwhile.
