Y Llofft is ideally situated for visiting some of the most picturesque and idyllic beaches that West Wales has to offer. Tresaith beach is just a half-mile stroll down the hill and is popular with families and The Ship Inn is the perfect spot for a bite to eat and to soak up the view of Cardigan Bay.

Nearby Aberporth has two sandy beaches and village amenities. Further along the coast you will find the National Trust beach at Penbryn, the village and beach at Llangrannog, and the quaint hamlet at Cwmtydu. The beautiful cove and traditional Welsh church at Mwnt is a short distance away.

Ceredigion Coast Path is just a 5-minute walk away with miles of stunning coastline, spectacular cliffs, fantastic wildlife, and pretty seaside villages to explore. New Quay, just a short drive away offers dolphin spotting boat trips and water sports. The market town of Cardigan (20 minutes) has supermarkets, a selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There are convenience stores and farm shops selling delicious local products within a couple of miles of the property.

Accessing the site

The nearest train stations are Carmarthen (28 miles) and Aberystwyth. The nearest bus stop is just under 0.5 miles in Tresaith village.
The approach to the property is by a tarmac driveway off a country lane with a relatively tight turn when approaching from one direction. Parking is directly outside the front door with ample turning area.
The main external seating area is at the front of the property on a raised deck accessed by one step.
There is a storage room available for use underneath the property, accessed via a steep tarmac drive and 3 steps.
Main Entrance has slightly raised door sill, Movable door mat.
Laminate flooring throughout the hallway.
To the immediate left of the front door, there is a door leading to the kitchen via the utility area and a glass door leading to the living area.
Large L-shaped Lounge/diner with archway to the kitchen. Furniture is sited so that there is adequate space for movement. One large upholstered 3 seater sofa which is quite low and a smaller two seater leather sofa which is firmer. There is plenty of natural light with three windows. There are two branch ceiling lights and three occasional lights. Laminate flooring throughout with one rug. There is a remote control large screen LED SMART Television with Blu-Ray DVD. CD player and iPod dock are located on a dresser unit.
Kitchen appliances and storage: Cooker with ceramic hob, electric oven, and a separate grill. Easy access to cooking utensils, saucepans etc. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer at wheelchair level.
Hallway leads to two bedrooms
Master bedroom has a king-size bed – very spacious access on 1 side of the bed but slightly narrower access on the other side. Two fitted wardrobes with 3 drawers at a low level. Bed side tables and dressing table.
Second bedroom has a single bed, an open hanging space with hanging rails at 2 levels. Large chest of drawers.
Feather duvets used during winter months but non-allergenic bedding is available on request. All pillows are non allergenic. Waterproof mattress protectors are available for all beds but not used as standard on the king size bed.
One bathroom is situated next to the master bedroom and opposite the single bedroom. Double-ended bath with centrally located taps and hand-held shower attachment. Small step into the double-sized shower cubicle with rain shower head and adjustable shower head. WC, hand basin, bath, and shower in a contrasting colour to floor tiles.
