Here are our holiday cottages in Laugharne and the surrounding area. Laugharne is a small town on the Taf Estuary , best known for its Dylan Thomas connection. Staying in one of our Laugharne cottages, you can explore the village where he lived with his wife, Caitlin, and their three children in the 1930s and visit the famous Boathouse where he wrote much of his work, now a heritage centre. Another attraction is the annual Laugharne Weekend - a small scale music and literature festival held each spring.
Laugharne is also known for its castle and for the variety of birds attracted to the sandbanks on the tidal estuary. The broad expanse of Pendine Sands is just 10 minutes from holiday cottages in Laugharne while the renowned resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are within a half hour drive.
