Freshwater East is a beach that remains uncrowded even during summer, providing ample space when the tide is low. Popular watersports such as kayaking, surfing, and windsurfing can be enjoyed here – a haven for water sports.

Join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path in either direction for fabulous views and stunning coastal scenery. Walking east takes you to remote Swanlake Bay and on to Manorbier. Walking west takes you to Stackpole Quay, where there is a café, and from there, you can carry on to Barafundle Beach.

If you’re arriving by car, there is a car park located at the west end of the beach, which also features a slipway for boat launching.

Trewent Holiday Park, behind the beach, has The Longhouse cafe and restaurant. A café/restaurant can be found in Freshwater East village together with a pub, The Freshwater Inn and a shop.

Toilet facilities, including accessible toilets, are available near the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach. Please be considerate to other beach users and remember you must always clean up after your dog.
