Just 15 minutes walk from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Rose Cottage in Jameston is perfectly located to enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. The cottage is within easy reach of some of the country’s most breathtaking beaches, and it’s just a 10-minute drive to the popular seaside town of Tenby. If you want to leave your car behind there is a bus stop 5 minutes from the cottage or the train station is just a 15-minute stroll away.
The cottage is modern, spacious, and light with a cosy log burner for evenings in and a patio to enjoy a drink and plan your adventures.
The area offers boat trips to explore the Pembrokeshire coast and offshore islands with the opportunity to spot seals, dolphins, and seabirds. Walkers can enjoy spectacular coastal scenery, pretty seaside villages, long sandy beaches, and small hidden coves.
Rose Cottage is only a mile from Manorbier where you will find a post office, a local shop, a pub, and a coffee shop. Manorbier Beach is popular with surfers and great for exploring rock pools at low tide. The Castle is well worth visiting and holds special events throughout the year.
Swan Lake Bay, Freshwater East and West are a short distance away, and the amazing Barafundle Bay has a coffee shop and plenty of parking. For families, it’s just a short drive to major attractions such as Folly Farm, Heatherton, Oakwood, and Manor Wildlife Park. There is something for everyone.
