Goodwick is a coastal town in Pembrokeshire, immediately west of its twin town of Fishguard. Fishguard and Goodwick form a community that wraps around Fishguard Bay. Goodwick Beach is a mix of sand and pebbles with a series of wooden groynes and a sea wall formed by boulders. Walk along the promenade above the top of the beach or on the long breakwater which protects the bay. Dog restrictions apply from 1st May to 30th September on the northern end of the beach.
Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through Goodwick, heading north to Fishguard and Newport and south to Strumble Head.
