Carew Castle from above
Carew Castle viewed from across the Carew River

Undoubtedly, Carew Castle is proudly known as one of Pembrokeshire’s finest castles. With its re-enactments of history, and fun family activities such as animal petting, archery and crafts during the summer months, it is a must-see attraction for visitors. With a fantastic Mill Pond that surrounds the castle, it makes for a wonderful walking spot with charming views.

Experience a unique Pembrokeshire museum at Carew Cheriton Control Tower. Originally an old WW2 airfield, renovated by volunteers as a living memorial to those who served at Carew. Go back in time to the 1940’s whilst exploring the museum’s collection of military uniforms, RAF maps, ration books and many more.

Carew is perfectly positioned to explore all of South Pembrokeshire, with Tenby, Pembroke and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path all nearby.
