A sandy beach with plenty of sand even at high tide. A wide flat area of sand is exposed at low tide, which is ideal for beach games. Rocky to the eastern end with rockpools.
The old tramway runs along the top of the beach with tunnels to both the east and west to Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot.
Coast restaurant situated at the eastern end of the beach takes top prizes for views. Built right on the edge of the beach it has great views across Carmarthen Bay. There is also The Kiosk selling ice creams and hot drinks.
Beneath Coast is a watersports and activity centre Good Trails where there are paddleboards, bikes and kayaking for hire or tuition.
Walk through the old tramway tunnels to Saundersfoot, with cafes, pubs, and shops; or to Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth in the other direction.
