New Quay Wales (to be distinguished from Newquay in Cornwall) is a popular holiday destination with its picturesque houses, pubs and restaurants clinging to the sides of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. The Dylan Thomas Trail in New Quay takes the visitor to many of the places either frequented by Thomas or believed to be mentioned in his famous play Under Milk Wood.
New Quay Ceredigion has a pier, from which you can see the famous Cardigan Bay dolphins most days in the summer. Based at one of our cottages in New Quay Wales you have the chance to spot wildlife such as the rare Chough, Red Kite, seabirds and the Grey Seals. There is lots to do in the town with fish & chips aplenty and many small shops and pubs.
There are beautiful coastal walks from New Quay West Wales and the Ceredigion Coastal Path can be joined - leading to Aberaeron in the north or to Llangrannog and Aberporth in the south.
