Here are our holiday cottages in Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire and nearby. Dinas Cross is in a splendid position between the dramatic headland of Dinas Island and the steep slopes of the Preseli Hills. Situated near Newport West Wales, the village is linear with some quaint stone cottages set back from the main coast road. In the village you will find a garage, a good village shop for your self catering supplies and two pubs called The Ship Aground and the Freemasons’ Arms - all you need for a wonderful holiday in any of our Dinas Cross cottages.
Dinas Island is in fact connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land so access is easy. If you’re feeling energetic, take a walk around the headland on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and enjoy the fabulous views. In early summer there are Razorbills and Guillemots nesting on Needle Rock on the north side. If you just want a short saunter, you can push wheelchair or baby buggy along the wide path between the sheltered cove of Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod, where you might end the day with a meal at The Old Sailor’s restaurant.
