Walking holidays in Ceredigion are a wonderful opportunity to discover the beauty of our coast. At any time of year, you will enjoy the splendid views which often extend to the Lleyn Peninsula of North Wales. Spring is the time for brilliant yellow gorse, pink sea thrift and white sea campion; in autumn, there are seal pups on the beaches and toadstools on the headlands. One of our favourite routes for walking the Ceredigion coast path is the 10-mile walk from Aberporth to Mwnt and back.

Walkers who take to the Wales Coast Path are well-rewarded with outstanding scenery. Once you find yourself on the Ceredigion coast path you’ll be over whelmed by the beauty of the blue sea, with the incredible horizon overlooking the coast path. The rugged shoreline has hidden coves and sights you can only see from the clifftops and here you might get some sightings of the gorgeous grey seals and porpoises. This is a perfect chance for you to take a well deserved rest to watch the charming wildlife in their natural habitats.

In the distance you can see Mwnt’s distinctive hill. At this vantage point on a busier day you should be able to see people enjoying the beautiful sheltered cove of Mwnt beach. If you walk up to the top of the hill you’ll see more beautiful views along the coast path, over charming bridges and more seals. Of course, you also have the chance to pass through many villages and towns where refreshment can be sought!
