Ysgubor-y-Tanybryn is an unusual and well presented renovated stone barn at Tanybryn near Tregaron in the Cambrian Mountains. Half a mile up a track with 2.5 acres of wildflower meadow, garden and woodland, this is the perfect place for a romantic break or a honeymoon. There is a Roman Jupiter spa hot tub available on request.
Ysgubor-y-Tanybryn is detached and the interior is open plan, except for the bathroom, and gives an amazing sense of space. The views down the valley from the four-poster bed are exceptional. Only the best materials have been used in its renovation.
The wildflowers growing along the banks provide a perfect environment for wildlife, including toads, frogs, foxes and bats, and for the birdwatcher, it is a haven with among others barn owls, tawny owls, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards and nuthatches. It is also an excellent location for star gazing as there is no light pollution. Close to the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail, with Hostel Ty’n y Cornel, Llanddewi Brefi being the closest Dark Sky Discovery Site.
