Yr Hen Parlwr, has been skilfully converted by the owners to form a cosy, quiet cottage in a picturesque location. Opposite the farm are the wild and magical Preseli hills with ponies, breath-taking views, burial cairns dating back to the Bronze Age and extensive walks and history.

Geologists have known since the 1920s that the Stonehenge ‘bluestones’ were brought from the Preseli Hills, but it is only recently that archaeologists have been able to locate the actual quarries from which they came. Craig Rhos-y-Felin is one of these.

There is direct access from the cottage garden to an extensive range of paths and walks along tranquil riverbanks or through the purple heather and yellow gorse of this beautiful moorland area and an abundance of wildlife.

Yr Hen Parlwr is one of two cottages located on the farm and was originally the milking parlour with the dairy adjoining. The building retains the character of the original design with exposed original stone walls and a slate roof with vaulted ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms. The owner’s sheep and horses will be grazing in their fields behind the cottage.

The cottage provides an idyllic base for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and exploring the surrounding stunning moorland, valleys, cliffs and beaches of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A 10 minute drive will take you to the picturesque village of Newport with its stunning beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
