Eglwyswrw, Crymych, Pembrokeshire
Modern and cosy detached stone barn in Eglwyswrw. This is a lovely romantic hideaway, perfectly positioned for discovering Pembrokeshire's breathtaking coast and countryside. (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom)
Ideal for a couple, Y Storws is a beautifully converted stone barn set in a secluded valley with idyllic views across the Preseli Hills. Light the woodburner and relax under the original oak beams in this cosy cottage which once stored corn for the sixteenth century mill next door. It is now a fully equipped tip-top-of-the-range cottage which overlooks a beautiful meadow and the meandering River Nevern.
Stroll along the riverbank, cross the bridge into the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the hill which the Mill Barn nestles in. You could even try fishing along our mile stretch of river.
Renovated to a high specification, enjoy the comfort of the underfloor heated slate floor, king-size oak bed and walk-in ‘rainwater’ shower and relax in the bath from which you can look out of the window at the view. Enjoy fresh eggs from the owner’s hens when available.
Newport with its superb restaurants, cafes and pubs not to mention the sandy beach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is only a 10 minute drive away. The pre-historic fort of Castell Henllys is a few minutes’ drive away making it a perfect place for couples to escape and enjoy the pleasures of the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside.
