Y Felin

With its own private hot tub, Y Felin is a beautiful easy access cottage on the outskirts of Cardigan near the border between Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The cottage is perfectly located for those wanting a relaxing break away, those looking for spectacular beaches and coastal scenery, wildlife spotters, bird watchers and of course walkers!

The National Trust beach at Mwnt and the broad expanse of Poppit Sands on the other side of the Teifi Estuary are both about 10 minutes’ drive. The Wales Coast Path offers wonderful walks amidst spectacular coastal scenery while inland you can walk to the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran and stroll along the banks of the River Teifi.

Y Felin is 3 miles from Gwbert and lies just outside Cardigan – the property enjoys a rural location, yet is only half a mile away from the amenities of the town: supermarkets, pubs, cinema/theatre and swimming pool.

Accommodation

Y Felin sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms plus the sun room (travel cot available). All the accommodation is on the ground floor and there are no steps.
Master bedroom: a spacious double aspect room with a king size bed that has plenty of room on both sides
Bedroom 2: twin beds
Bathroom: large walk in shower accessible for disabled guests (no grab rails), WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail
Sun room: this is a separate room with patio doors to the garden. It has twin beds so it can serve as a third bedroom.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and bright with plenty of natural light – and tiny LED lights shine from the oak beams in the vaulted ceiling at night.

Outside

There is a small patio area with a private hot tub at the back of the property as well as a small enclosed lawn. The river Mwnt runs through the adjoining woodland, so when relaxing on the patio, the air is filled with birdsong and the sound of the river.
There is ample private parking space for 3 cars by the cottage. An access ramp leads to the front door.
