“We loved this little place, away from the kids, in a really peaceful spot in Wales. We were only there two nights but found two great places to eat (The Golden Lion and Pizza place), a few good places to walk, a few good shops to poke around in and generally managed to be grown ups again. Thank you :) Also, the welcome hamper was really lovely..felt like a real treat.”

“We had a very warm welcome when we arrived. Cottage is really well placed to tour Pembrokeshire. The cottage was lovely and clean. Welcome pack was really nice. Easy stroll to the centre of the village which had some really good restaurants and pubs. The local shops stocked everything required for a chilled and relaxing stay. Only 2 min walk from the coastal path and waters edge.”

“This is a beautiful old cottage that has been modernised and tastefully decorated. The bedroom is just fab! Lovely, big, comfy bed and a window and skylight that let in plenty of light, plus the sounds of birdsong and the sea. It's in a very quiet location but only a couple of minutes'; walk into town, and - even better - a minute's walk down to the stunning estuary and coastline. The cottage has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with great shower, and cosy sofas with cushions and blankets. And a private outdoor seating area.”

“We had a lovely peaceful time here. The cottage was well thought out with lots of very individual touches. It was warm, comfortable and very homely. The welcome pack was really generous, with local goodies. The bed was nice and firm, the towels were the fluffiest I have encountered for a long time. The information and leaflets were really helpful and Helen gave us some very useful information about local sights. Newport is a great place to stay and Y Cwtch is perfectly situated.”

“Y Cwtch Holiday Cottage, will provide a peaceful, delightful and well serviced stay in a beautiful part of West Wales. Helen will provide a warm welcome and a breakfast hamper that continues to put a smile on your face, each time you try a new organic locally produced product. Our favourite three of many were the Cenarth Cheese, local butter, and delightful bread & jam, not to mention the red wine. We'll be back I'm sure!

“This is a lovely, quiet location, ideal for getting away from it all. Helen is an excellent host - there if you need her but not the least bit intrusive.

In a short break we managed to do three excellent walks from the doorstep. It was a fantastic advantage to be able to leave the car parked up for the entire stay.”
