“This was one of the most well equipped places we have ever stayed and a very nice touch of providing a bottle of wine and a cake upon our arrival ( not forgetting two dog biscuits) .”

“We had a brilliant time at Y Bwthyn. Perfect for a family get together. 4 generations and something for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and the patio area and garden were perfect. The walks for the dog from the house were also much appreciated. Loved it”

“We loved the cottage and the little touches such as eggs and milk in the fridge, wine and cake and a Bonio for my dog were so thoughtful.

Thank You.

“Immaculate and beautiful holiday home, decorated to a very high standard. Well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Really peaceful location and the decking provided the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of tea and an evening glass of wine! The Ferry Inn, just 2 mins walk, was cosy and served excellent food along with great views. Nearby Poppit Sands was stunning and perfect for the kids and dog. Easy drive to nearby towns/villages/attractions and the Pembrokeshire Coast has some outstanding scenery - spotted seals and dolphins on our travels too! Would definitely return. Thanks for providing us with the perfect base and surroundings for a memorable holiday.”

“On arrival Sarah was there to meet us and was very welcoming as was Murphy the dog. This is a real home from home accommodation and everything is decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The house was extremely clean and the towels supplied were of a good quality and a good size. Sarah and Ian have tried to think of everything and left lot of things to make life easier e.g. some dishwasher tablets, hand soap and toilet rolls, the bottle of wine and welsh cakes were an added bonus. They had even left a small supply of dog poo bags and a dog bowl. There is lots of information at the property about the local area, and plenty of books to read if you need one. 10 mins drive away is Poppit Sands (fine sand) which is a fabulous beach and dog friendly. It is a really clean beach with a pay and display car park and cafe which serves very reasonably priced food and drinks. The Ferry Inn is a short walk from the property and is very welcoming and dog friendly. They serves delicious food, but I would advise booking to avoid dissapoimtment. All in all Y Bwthyn is a very comfortable, top quality accommodation which we would highly recommend.”

“A beautiful place! Everything was there that you could want and need. It was warm and cosy (we stayed late Nov) and the beds were so comfy. It was spotlessly clean and tidy and the kitchen was especially nice to cook in (washing up looking at the views out the window). We were emailed back as soon as we booked, and Sarah met us there when we arrived. We felt so welcome and comfortable I would recommend this place 100% and hope to return someday soon. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!”

“The cottage had everything we wanted and was a great base to explore the local area. We particularly enjoyed the food at the local pubs and it was great that you could walk to both the Teifi Netpool Inn and the White Hart Inn using the path along the river. The Ferry Inn was even closer and we can highly recommend it as well. Cardigan has a good selection of shops and we can also recommend Food For Thought for lunch. The beach at Poppit Sands was great to walk our dog and there are lots of other great walks along the coast path. The beach and walks around Mwnt are worth noting and, although a bit of a drive, a trip to St Davids and walking around St Davids Head is well worth doing.”

“You must stay here. Everything about the property would ensure that your holiday would be complete. The location is ideal - views over to the river, short walk to the local pub on the river, and a mile by road to a spectacular sandy beach. Everything in the property is spotlessly clean and with three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, this makes for an easy family holiday. I have never stayed in better self catering accommodation.”
