“The cottage was ideal for us, it felt very homely from the first time we stepped through the door. Glenda and her husband were the perfect hosts a lovely couple my wife had mentioned that it was my birthday and our wedding anniversary and they had left a bottle of wine and a card on the table for our arrival which was a lovely gesture. We took our Jack Russel, Molly with us and she loved being in the enclosed garden being able to run around freely. The cottage itself was well equipped and very clean and tidy and with facilities to wash and dry your clothes. There are some lovely walks to explore along the coastline and surrounding area plus the cottage had a big selection of guides on where to eat and the local attractions and walks. The local town of Cardigan is only 10 to 15 minutes drive away with a god selection of shops and dog friendly eating places plus a large Co-Op and Lidl, while you are there Poppitt sands is a must to go and see and reward yourself with some very good local ice cream. A lovely clean beach with lifeguards in attendance.”

“We and our dogs had a lovely time staying in the cottage, the owners couldn't have been more helpful even towing our car to the cottage and lending us some tools to repair the car. The location was spot on and the area was so dog friendly we couldn't have wished for more. Would love to stay again in the future.”

“The cottage is equipped and was well prepared for us and our two dogs. It is comfortable and tidy - it feels like home, also due to many personal (local) touches. It was great to open the door and have a garden, with additional attractions (Otto, three hens, two donkeys). The whole setting allowed us to totally relax. WiFi and multitude of leaflets helped immensely in discovering this beautiful, interesting and friendly part of Wales. Last but not the least, the family of owners made us feel naturally welcome!”

“We stayed here before Easter 2017 and the cottage was peregrct for us, it was next to fields and close to the beach. We spent the week walking and the owners had provided walking books and maps in the cottage. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and any questions they answered for us. We would definitely recommend.”

“Lovely cottage, actually even lovelier than the images on the website suggest! Plenty of space, lovely views, very comfy. Owners very approachable and checked we had everything we needed. The donkeys were a real hit with the kids too! Plenty to do in the local area, although we spent most of the time on the beach! We had a wonderful week and will be keen to return in future.”

“The cottage was very clean and tidy, with reasonable facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. The bedding was all very clean and comfortable. It was very peaceful, although if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, you can hear road traffic.
The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area, being on the A487, and there are plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby. The beach at Poppit Sands is lovely, and is also dog friendly, and there are plenty of other small beaches within a 20 mile radius. Tenby is less than an hour away. This was our second visit, and we would recommend the cottage to anyone wishing to stay in the area!”

Thank you Glenda from Denise and family x”

“The cottage was in a beautiful setting, with open fields surrounding. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with adequate room for up to five adults. Although situated on a working farm, we hardly noticed any noise (except for the occasional mooing, which is to be expected!). Facilities were good - the kitchen has a microwave, oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as all the crockery and cutlery you could need. The double beds were wonderfully comfortable and the enclosed garden area was a pleasure in the warm weather. The cottage is an ideal base for travelling around the area, and we hope to return later in the year!”

“Super cottage. Nice and cosy and excellent facilities. The stainless steel pans were a big improvement on most which we have had in the past. A lovely base from which to visit West Wales with lots of things within a 20 minute drive.
Glenda and Llyr were very helpful and friendly.
Waking to the sight of cows grazing 10 yards from our window was lovely and the enclosed garden was great for the dogs.
Beautiful walks straight out the back door.
Would definitely recommend”
