Y Bwthyn is situated within Anfodd Countryside Retreats in the heart of the West Wales countryside in Carmarthenshire.

Sitting within a 6-acre smallholding and surrounded by working farmland, this is great for those looking for a restful getaway. After a day exploring the area, relax in the hot tub in the private garden or cosy up in front of the log burner.

Y Bwthyn is nestled near the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire border, and there are plenty of great beaches, family attractions, and countryside walks to enjoy. The Preseli Hills are nearby, which offers magnificent scenery and the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path has equally breath-taking views.

The market towns of Carmarthen and Cardigan are less than 30 minutes away and provide a range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cinemas. The idyllic town of Laugharne, which was home to renowned poet and author Dylan Thomas, is also less than 30 minutes from the cottage, with its impressive Norman castle. Pendine’s 7 miles of beach are worth a visit too.

All along the coast are villages and beaches offering watersports, climbing, coasteering or just a golden sandy beach to relax on.

A wonderful base for enjoying the scenic coast and countryside of West Wales.
