Rugged moorland with bog and gradients; 1.6 m minor roads. No waymarkers on open hill – beware if foggy. Bedd Arthur Burial mound with 13 small standing stones is on the summit; you pass Carn Menyn,believed to be the source of Stonehenge blue stones (some claim it’s Carn Goedog – a mile to the n-west).
