Benton Wood

Easy to moderate walk along quiet lanes with tracks and minor road. Route goes through deciduous and coniferous woodland and past farmland with livestock. Sometimes muddy. You can miss out the offshoot to Burton if you wish. Benton Castle is now privately owned.
