“We were a family group of 7 adults and 2 babies celebrating a special birthday. Having just returned from our holiday at Upper Calffield Farm we cannot recommend it highly enough. Every little detail has been so carefully thought through. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and are already talking about returning. The house and surroundings are lovely and the helpful service made this a holiday to remember.”Feedback - Aug 2019

“Couldn't be happier This is the second time we have stayed here, once for Christmas and now in summer. I can't recommend Upper Calf Farm high enough and it is now my first port of call for the future. Amazing location, well appointed, plenty of space and Sean the onsite caretaker. Couldn't ask for better. Well done Margaret and thank you for making us so welcome”Steve, June 2018

“Perfect accommodation for a couples weekend! We had a fantastic weekend in the farmhouse and converted barn! The house is just like the pictures, comfortable and cosy. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t bother us because the house was so lovely. We really enjoyed the use of the log burning fires and the games room was a fun added extra. We will definitely be coming back!”Sarah, Jan 2018
“Heartily recommended. The booking was for a family Christmas/new year get together. It was the first time we had all been together in one place at the same time for a lot of years and as such we wanted something a bit special and a place where we could have a professional photographer to take some photo's as a reminder. There were 11 of us staying there with the remainder of the local family coming up each day. Upper Calf Farm exceeded all expectations. It was spotless when we arrived and ready for our occupancy. The onsite caretaker had put the heating on for us so that it was lovely and warm. The living room had been beautifully decked out with Christmas decorations and a magnificent Christmas tree. We really didn't have to do anything except get the food in. The beds were very comfortable, constant hot water and a log burner in the living room. No need to rush into town for logs and kindling since the caretaker provided logs as and when required at a cost much less than in town. Plenty of car parking and only a few miles drive into town, the convenience without being in town. As if all that wasn't enough there was a very handsome welcome basket waiting for our arrival. In short, we had a fantastic holiday. Thank you, Margaret, for all your care and attention. I would recommend staying here very strongly.”Christopher, Dec 2017
“Stayed here with our family of 10. We all loved it especially our grandchildren as there were horses and ponies to feed and play with. Very helpful caretaker who lived next door. Convenient to beautiful walks on the beach or countryside together with a local pub. Excellent! Hoping to return again.”David, Nov 2017

There was a little basket of goodies to welcome us which was a fab touch on our arrival. Lots of room for 7 adults and 4 kids with everyone loving their bedrooms and the living areas. Really well thought out areas and decor.
I can't recommend this place enough - like a home from home. We had a wonderful Birthday celebration weekend at Upper Calffield Farm - thank you”
“Lovely break with the family. Smashing house, spacious and clean. Super playroom too.”Rehan, April 2017
“Lovely, cosy cottage for Christmas. We spent a very enjoyable Christmas in Upper Calffield farm. There were 10 of us...children, teenagers, adults and OAPs! Such a pretty and homely cottage, we arrived to a very welcoming and generous hamper which was very well received! We had a drink in the nearby pub, where we found the locals to be very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was really spacious, with room for all of us without feeling cramped. It had everything we needed, and more! All the rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The table tennis was a big hit with all of us, and the children took a real shine to the ponies! We explored Broad Haven and Newgale beaches - both very close, easy to find and beautiful. All in all, a lovely Christmas spent in a gorgeous place. Would recommend to anyone, and I expect we'll be back! Thank you to Margaret who was very helpful throughout the whole booking process.”Karen, Dec 2016
“Family Holiday Great Get Together! Our family of 10 arrived from 3 destinations for a family get together. It was lovely to be able to spend time with one another in such superb accommodation. Everyone had their own delightful bedroom which they chose with no arguments because each bedrrom was so nicely furnished and decorated. We loved the huge sitting room where we all watched TV, played games and talked without being cramped! Especially nice was sitting comfortably altogether around the dinning table sharing a evening meal and breakfast. Yet because of the utility room we had plenty of space to store provisions. A well equiped kitchen to. A very warm and comfortable house indeed even in the middle of winter. And a very nice welcome pack of goodies. Most of us enjoyed table tennis and were quite good at it! The farmhouse is well situated to visit so many fantastic places. We had a really good value for money meal at The Farmers Arms at Mathry. Supermarkets in Haverfordwest are only a short drive and yet the farmhouse is away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy life. It is a beautiful area and we highly recommend Upper Calffield. .”Laurie, Oct 2016
“upper calf field farm. Brilliant! After a rather stressful wedding we had a wonderful relaxing week with all our family 10, (from 2 to 70yrs). The farm was so welcoming. we all loved it! Great to have a bedroom each all tastefully decorated and all with their own character. the master bedroom is superb! There is lots of storage room. We really liked the utility room. the property was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for all the family at the kitchen table and in the sitting rooms. The games room was popular with the guys playing table tennis. the gardens were lovely. Nice to have hidden bits where members could get away and relax. Its in a fabulous situation looking over the fields, so quiet. The little shetlands were right next door. Its in an excellent position as only 5 mins from Morrisons. everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. It felt like home! We have already recommended it to a friend Easy to reach beaches once you mastered the roads around Haverfordwest! We loved Littlehaven. Saundersfoot has an excellent Tapas restaurant called North 9 ? On wet days The blue lagoon waterworld came in handy. It was very busy but we all enjoyed it. Locally we walked down to the little hump back bridge and loved swimming there so much we had to go back again.”Susan, July 2016
“Beautiful house in stunning rural location. Our 2 families (4 adults, 5 children) Had a lovely relaxing stay here. We were lucky with the weather and spent the mornings down on Newgale beach (about 15 min drive) or walking the coastal path. Evenings were spent relaxing by the warm fire, The cottage was well equipped, pretty, clean. And the little extra touches made all the difference. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return in the hope of exploring the local area further.”Debbie, Oct 2015
