Ty Trol (Cart Cottage) is a converted refurbished ‘eco-friendly’ barn, set in a tranquil location with a private fishing lake and private hot tub, only 10 mins from the beach. Set on a 7 acre site at the end of a lane, the cottage has no light pollution and no traffic noise!

Within the 7 acres there are also a neighbouring house and an adjoining holiday cottage. There are nearby bridleways for access to the hills and woodlands – home of the red kites. Visitors are welcome to explore the land, which includes a small part of the River Arth.

Ty Trol (Cart Cottage) is very conveniently situated for access to a wide range of mid Wales coves and sandy beaches, and the pretty harbour town of Aberaeron which boast a number of excellent restaurants, including the Harbourmaster.

There is a pub at the local village of Cross Inn and local activities include golf, horse riding, sea and river fishing, dolphin and wildlife trips, scuba diving, and activity centre (kayaking, assault course, archery).


Ty Trol (Cart Cottage) sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 king size (which can convert to two singles) and 1 double. The accommodation is all at ground level.

Private fenced garden, with veranda, patio, hot tub and BBQ. Private fishing lake in grounds, stocked with Rudd and Carp (12lb). Fishing is free of charge. Nearby there are some children’s swings. Private access to cottage with ample parking space for 2 cars.

There is a nearby cottage and house, the other properties each have their own access and private gardens and are not visible from the front of the cottage and the private garden is not overlooked.
