Ty Sara is a beautiful stone cottage on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park, with stunning sea views over to Strumble Head and only 5 minutes’ drive from Abereiddy, one of many local sandy beaches. This cottage has been converted to a high standard, retaining all of its charming rural character, combined with stylish modern touches to please the most discerning guest. It is one of 4 converted cottages on the magical Trefacwn estate comprising 4 acres of grounds which guests are free to explore.

The local area is favoured by walkers, cyclists, water sports and wildlife enthusiasts, artists and families alike. Countryside and coastal walks abound and there is easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. A variety of wildlife tours are on offer and there are 3 golf courses within a half hour radius. St Davids – the UK’s smallest city, with its shops and historic cathedral is 10 minutes’ drive, and there is a good selection of local eateries and watering holes nearby.

Ty Sara sleeps 4 in two upstairs bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. A sofa bed on the ground floor can accommodate an additional 2 guests. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and all upstairs rooms have natural wooden floors and Velux windows and are accessed via a hand-crafted wooden staircase.

Downstairs consists of an open plan living-room, dining area and kitchen, all with double-glazed sash windows. The living room has 2 comfortable sofas, an attractive modern wood burner, TV with DVD player, music system and natural wooden flooring.

The bespoke kitchen which includes the dining area has stone flooring and Corian work surfaces. It is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and electric hob. The circular cottage-style dining table seats 6.

There is timer-controlled heating and hot water; under-floor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. Laundry facilities are separately located in a shared laundry building which has an additional shower and space for storing outdoor equipment.

All renovations have been carried out sympathetically to the character of the property, utilizing many of its original features. Natural eco paints have been used throughout and many fixtures and fittings have been handmade, using reclaimed wood.
