Located in a small hamlet outside Mathry, Pembrokeshire, Ty Gwyn has been lovingly refurbished. Semi-rural, but conveniently situated with Haverfordwest town just 12 miles away, the golden sandy beach of Newgale 6.5 miles away and the stunning cove of Abercastle just 3 miles away.
Mathry is a small village with a pub and a tearoom. To the west and north of Mathry is some of the finest coastal scenery in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park from Trefin to Abercastle to Aber Mawr and on to Strumble Head.
There is plenty to explore with the Preseli Hills a stone’s throw away with its spectacular walks. In addition, there is an abundance of outdoor activities to keep you entertained, including dolphin watching, sea fishing, or kayaking.
In the summer evenings, enjoy listening to the birds sing with a book from the conservatory, or sit at the retro cocktail/gin bar soaking up the sun from the open plan living space. In the winter, with footpaths on your doorstep, enjoy a stroll around the variety of countryside walks or the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path before curling up in front of the log burner.
