““Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing two week stay. Has been great to sit on the patio and watch the wildlife coming and going. Found lots of things to do locally including: Cors Caron (both the boardwalk and the Ystwyth Trail), Hamid for waterfalls, Strata Florida, the Butterfly House in the Rheidol Valley and New Quay harbour for dolphin-watching and fish and chips from Lime Crab. For a rainy day, we tried the Escape Room on the A44 a few miles east of Aberystwyth - good fun and something quite different. Thanks again for a great holiday.””

““We’ve had a wonderful stay here at Ty Cellin! It’s our first visit to Wales and we’ve been astounded by the beauty, food, culture and quiet. The nature around the farm has been outstanding and the quality of the barn and facilities superb. Thank you so much for having us ... we cannot wait to return!””

““Lovely, comfortable cottage. Enjoyed all the wildlife close at hand including song thrushes, chaffinches, bull finch and the bats in the evening. Particularly enjoyed watching the bluetits nesting in the box at the side of the porch. Had a great walk across the fields to the Lake, watching the red kites above us. Relaxing second stay, last time in Bryn Isaf. Highly recommended to bird watchers, those who want a quiet getaway and enjoy nature close at hand.””

““This place is a little gem, tucked away in the middle of such pastoral beauty but close enough to Tregaron for essential supplies. The children loved running around and playing in the garden and enjoyed the delights of the gamboling lambs. We saw so many birds, a woodpecker! and our cup truly runneth over with wildlife. We also appreciated being able to book the adjacent cottage so we could get together with our family. We had trips to Cors Caron, Llanina beach and Aberporth and also took some gentle ambles to the lake and lodge, where we bumped into Emma, a mine of information and knowledge about the wildlife and plants. We’re all hoping very much to come back soon.“”

“"2 weeks in this beautiful cottage, so quiet, so relaxing. Birdwatching from the sofa! Red Kites feeding from our scraps on the lawn, Nuthatches on our feeders in the hedge, 4 Woodpeckers eating peanuts and Jays on the patio. We hardly needed to go out, difficult to tear ourselves away. Lovely walks for those more mobile than us too. Machynlleth on Wednesday - Market day - for a great ‘real’ market is always a ‘must’ for me. A lovely holiday, thank you to all concerned.””

“What a fantastic holiday we have had with stunning views to wake up to each morning. Fantastic walks and wildlife on the doorstep. It was great to have family in next door accommodation so could enjoy time together but within our own space. Also being close to family who live in the village. The children loved playing in the garden which was safe and secure and away from traffic. Would love to come back soon. Thank you,”

The Jones Family from Birmingham, October 2018

“The cottage was beautiful and finished to a high standard. It was a very warm welcoming stay. A basket of logs was left and they had thought of all the little essentials from salt and pepper to toilet rolls and soap. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery and cutlery etc. The views are great and plenty of wildlife, we woke up one morning to sheep in the back garden! Plenty to do in the surrounding area and lots of leaflets with information left for you too.”
