The Boathouse Gallery is situated in the picturesque village of Broad Haven, in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, close by to the Coast Path.
All the paintings take their inspirations from local scenery and how it is affected by the weather, the time of day and the changing light.
Pembokeshire is truly a place for all seasons, see it captured in the watercolours of the rough seas of a Marloes winter, the glittering calm of a Broad Haven summer, see it in the early morning and a late sunset.
In the gallery you will find original watercolours and prints by Shirley Norman. Along with the paintings, you will also find traditional lobster pots, woodcarvings and many other crafts. There are many new crafts including new jewellery lines, animal ceramics and Ian has been busy creating driftwood lamps and mirrors. The gallery displays the complete range of unique greeting cards designed in calligraphy, using apt and amusing quotations and proverbs. All suitable for framing.
