The Really Wild Food & Countryside Festival was founded by Julia Horton-Powdrill (Reallywildjulia) who has lived in Wales all her life and is passionate about the Welsh countryside. Julia’s dream to champion rural life and how to make the most of it became a reality when she started the Festival in St Davids, Pembrokeshire.
The Summer Festival has expanded and developed and now showcases a wide variety of locally grown or produced food, or wild ingredients foraged from the hedgerows, coast, beach and river as well as rural crafts, traditions, storytelling and lots more.
Visitors to the festival can sample and enjoy produce from the natural countryside of Wales and can take part in the ever popular Ferret-Racing, Wellie-Wanging, Pig-Racing as well as walks, talks and a Really Wild Musical Evening. Look out for dates!
