A small, sandy beach with cliffs on either side, Pwllgwaelod faces west with views across Fishguard Bay to Fishguard Harbour. It is an enclosed, gently shelving beach with plenty of rock pools and low rocks to scramble on. A three-mile walk from Pwllgwaelod around Dinas Island to Cwm yr Eglwys takes in the highest point on the Coast Path, so there are beautiful views on a clear day.
Dogs are allowed, but please be considerate to other beach users and remember you must always clean up after your dog.
