Pembrokeshire Fish Week is a seriously fishy festival which celebrates not just the abundance of mouthwatering sea-food of West Wales, but also Pembrokeshire’s breathtaking coastline, culture, great angling and fishing heritage.
Jam-packed with more than 250 events, the festival attracted over 22,000 people last year to the opening weekend alone.
Food lovers can enjoy shellfish extravaganzas, Fresh fish barbecues, Seafood Tapas, Crab lunches, or just great fish and chips! With plenty of opportunities to sample and buy locally caught fish and shellfish.
Top chefs will be sharing their skills at various demonstrations and masterclasses throughout the week.
Enjoy the beautiful coastline with a variety of river cruises, seashore rambles, kayaking and coasteering adventures or fishing trips.
Families can enjoy beach sports and activity days, crab-catching, seine netting and seaside-inspired art and craft sessions.
Keen anglers can take part in several fishing competitions while there are plenty of opportunities for beginners to ‘just have a go’.
In the past the festival programme started with a family and food lovers day at Milford Haven Marina, where visitors enjoyed fish and shellfish demonstrations, tastings, seafood barbecues, entertainment for all ages and many varied stalls.
Pembrokeshire Fish Week is truly a county–wide event. We eagerly anticipate next summer’s festival which we hope will prove to be as successful, please check website for dates.
