Cariad Glass is based in the small market town of Llandysul, overlooking the picturesque River Teifi; (Cariad means ‘sweetheart’ in Welsh). The beauty of the surrounding landscape of rural West Wales is inspirational to Chris, as is apparent in his work.
Chris has been working with glass for many years, specialising in leaded lights and copper foiling techniques, as well as painted glass work. As a skilled craftsperson, Chris combines elements of glass and woodwork in his individual creations, and enjoys using reclaimed glass within his work.
Cariad Glass produces a wide range of glass gifts, a restoration service and also bespoke glass panels. Cariad Glass understands that a piece of commissioned glass is a very personal, individual project so will work with you throughout the design process to ensure that the finished piece lives up to your expectations and dreams – whether you have a fixed idea of your design or just a desire for an individual, bespoke panel.
