Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is a wonderful natural tourist attraction with superb panoramic views over Cardigan Island, the estuary of the River Teifi, the Pembrokeshire National Park, Poppit Sands and Cardigan Bay.
Atlantic Grey Seals inhabit the many caves below the farm park and can be seen every day at close quarters from the safely fenced cliffs, as can Cardigan Bay’s Bottlenose Dolphins. The seal-viewing headland is only a 20 minute walk away from the Visitor Centre where you can view and feed the friendly farm animals including an emu, wallabies, prairie dogs, a llama, donkey, many Welsh and Shetland ponies, belted galloway and charolais cross cattle, sheep and goats .
The farm park has a spacious Visitor Centre, with a large café, Welsh craft and gift shop and indoor games for children ……plus a pool table for dad!
The Visitor Centre is surrounded by a large patio with breath-taking panoramic views over the sea and beautiful rocky coastline. There are also outdoor picnic tables for those who bring their own picnics.
