“Lovely studio flat in a fantastic location with very accommodating owners.
Coming back to the flat never felt like the end of the day, but an opportunity to enjoy the last hours of the day in the lovely surroundings.
Not for everyone I am sure, but if you like secluded accommodation on a "nature reserve" then look no further.”

“The Studio was exactly as advertised. If you want a small 2 person getaway, this is for you. Fairly basic but all needs covered. Plenty of outdoor seating available in the garden in various locations with BBQ's available. Fabulous sunsets over the far side of the tidal pool and garden oriented to take full advantage of the light.
The owners were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. All in all a very good location especially for bird watchers (loads of wildlife on the tidal pool - bring your binoculars).”

“I wish we could have stayed longer. Totally isolated, but within driving distance of Tenby/Saundersfoot. I will be returning”

“The Studio: Sept 2019

We had a lovely weekend at The Studio. It is very comfortable, and was cosy on chilly early Autumn nights with the excellent stove. The setting is idyllic, the garden is beautiful and the surrounding countryside vey rural and full of interest. The cottage is very well sited for exploring both the Pembroke and St Davids area. Huw and Viv are excellent hosts. We hope to come back, perhaps to catch some music at Burnett’s Hill Chapel!

“Lovely cosy little place to stay. Beautiful tranquil settings and gardens to wander around in. A definite highlight was watching an otter swim up the estuary at the bottom of the garden. A perfect place to get away from everything and relax.”

“The Studio is set in a tranquil and beautiful location. It is compact but well laid out. The stairs to the bedroom mezzanine are steep but OK if you are nimble. We had a lovely few days here with our dog Trixie. There are numerous excellent walks in the countryside and the shoreline. You can just spend lazy days watching birds as the tide comes in and out of the pool at the bottom of the garden. It is a good base to explore the region from Tenby to St Davids. A place to savour and remember. Wendy and Peter Osborn.”

“Beautiful setting, wonderful garden and views. Peaceful and calm setting. This studio may be a bit cramped for big people”

“beautiful location, friendly owners who allowed full access to surrounding gardens. Guests should be made aware that the stairs to the mezzanine floor could be a problem, owing to the paddle design. also restricted height in the bedroom, so not suitable for a tall person”

“We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, just what we were looking for. The stay at the cottage is very good price for value. The location is very convenient for visiting different places accross Pembrokeshire. The owners are really helpful and friendly. You will not notice they are in the main house, so you will feel independent.”

“Perfect for one woman and her dog, (who couldn’t climb the staircase). Great views, wonderful places to walk and gloriously peaceful.”

“Lower Millar's Park is the most perfect get away location if you appreciate nature at its most natural and unspoilt. The setting is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful. Huw and Viv, the owners (on-site) are very relaxed, accommodating, and kind - ensuring you make the most of your stay. If you can bring yourself to leave the tranquillity of the Studio or Cottage to travel the locality, there are ample beaches, woods, pubs, towns, historic monuments, themes parks/tourist sites, etc., to drive, cycle or hike to. I left refreshed, recharged and keen to return.”

“Veronica and I had a wonderful stay in Landshipping. A quiet, peaceful place, just what we both needed given our busy working life. If you want peace and quiet with beautiful gardens, this is the place for you. The hosts were very kind providing a BBQ, which we used both nights. The log-burner kept us warm and cosy. Ideal location for exploring the area. Thank you very much.”

“This cottage was the perfect getaway. Situated in a beautiful, rural area surrounded by water and lots of open space, we will 100% be coming back. The owners of the property were so lovely and topped up our coal and fire logs when needed. They were very helpful and the whole experience was such a treat! Thank you ”
