Near Cardigan Bay, this cosy and romantic converted old barn is on a working smallholding, run on organic principles. The long access track is edged with high hedges full of honeysuckle and wild roses. Adding to the sense of simplicity are the ducks and hens which waddle freely around the farm - and may greet you hopefully at your door in the morning.

The Stone Barn is full of rustic charm with original beams, log burner and handmade kitchen units. There’s plenty to do on the farm: follow the trail through its 16 acres of fields, watch the antics of our ducks, chickens, geese and small flock of Jacob sheep, or enjoy a picnic in the little field near the barn.

The nearest beach is in Aberporth (10 minutes’ drive) where you can spend the day basking in the sunshine and indulging in some ice cream. There is easy access to the other sandy beaches and fishing villages along this beautiful stretch of coastline.

Cardigan (15 minutes), the nearest town, has a variety of shops including supermarkets, a range of cafés and restaurants, a cinema/ theatre and the restored Castle.

The Stone Barn sleeps 4 in 2 double bedrooms.

Bedroom 1: double futon, very limited head room, more suited to children

Bedroom 2: double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps
Bathroom: bath with shower over, toilet, hand basin

Table, chairs and BBQ to the side of the cottage. There is no enclosed garden, the ducks and geese range freely outside the barn.
