With direct access to the Ceredigion Heritage Coastal Path, the location of The Shepherd’s Hut in Pontgarreg is a walker’s haven. From here you can walk to Llangrannog, Aberporth or New Quay – or as far as you want to go! Award-winning beaches and iconic harbours make the area a beautiful place to visit.
If walking is not your thing then there are many other activities available from surfing to coffee shops and restaurants, to enjoying the wonderful arts and crafts of the area. This gorgeous shepherd’s hut is a unique glamping escape.
Set up high behind our house, against a backdrop of woods, alone in a paddock, the Shepherd’s Hut is entirely private. Overlooking a pond, the valley and the rolling countryside with footpaths leading to the Coast Path.
It is a comfortably finished, hand crafted shepherd's hut made by a local craftsman – very cosy. It has a fully equipped galley kitchen, a wood burning stove in the living area, a shower room with hot shower, washbasin and toilet.
Open the stable door whilst cooking your breakfast and enjoy the blissfully peaceful rolling landscape across the valley and hear the birds singing.
The Shepherd's Hut sleeps 2, on a day bed which converts to a king size bed.
Sleeping area: King size daybed with under bed trundle, wood burning stove, fold-up table and 2 chairs
Bathroom: electric shower with instant hot water, toilet, hand basin, extractor fan
Kitchen: double electric hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave, continuous worktop with cupboards under, inset stainless steel sink, hot and cold water
There are chairs, a table and a BBQ for you to use outside while you enjoy the beautiful Welsh outdoors and wildlife. A trunk that slides under the hut is provided for extra storage. There is a nearby shed for any larger items including bicycles. Parking is available on hard standing, from where there are steps and a path up to the hut.

• Some logs are provided, more can be purchased locally

• 4G mobile signal is available depending on your service provider. Being a rural location signal strength can vary, but only dips to 3G
