The Rope and Anchor is a semi-detached holiday cottage close to the centre of the lovely Georgian seaside town of Aberaeron, in Ceredigion. With a pebble beach close by fabulous walking and cycling and stunning scenery to enjoy this is a great base for a family holiday, a relaxing break or an action-packed visit.

The cottage offers contemporary accommodation, combined with original features from which you can enjoy this beautiful part of West Wales. The lounge with a wood burner offers a cosy retreat, and the enclosed patio is a great place to enjoy an evening drink and plan the next day’s activities.

Aberaeron town and beach are just a few hundred yards away and here you will find a good range of independent shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafés and restaurants. The town has a great foodie scene with something to suit everyone’s tastes and lots of local products to try. The town Harbour is a great place for a leisurely stroll and the perfect spot to enjoy the famous locally-made honey ice cream. An abundance of outdoor pursuits such as go-karting, quad biking, and water sports are all available locally. There is a leisure centre within Aberaeron.

Cei Bach and the seaside village of New Quay, both within 2 miles, have sandy beaches and boats leave the harbour at New Quay for dolphin spotting boat trips. The National Trust house and estate at Llanerchaeron is a short drive away or a popular 2.4-mile walk. Inland, keen walkers can enjoy the quiet and unspoiled landscapes of The Cambrian Mountains.

The Rope and Anchor sleeps 4 in 2 upstairs double bedrooms: 1 super king and 1 double with a sofa bed in the second sitting room for an additional 1 guest if required.

Bedroom 1: super king size (6’) bed, TV, vaulted ceiling and sea views
Bedroom 2: double bed with beamed ceiling
Wet room: shower and wash hand basin (no toilet upstairs)

Sitting room: 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, 38” Freeview Smart TV, DVD player, log burner, sea views
Dining room: table seating 4-6.Window to patio.
Kitchen: electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine
Bathroom: bath, WC and wash hand basin
Small sitting room: sofa bed suitable for one guest

OUTSIDE
Enclosed rear furnished patio on two levels. Please ensure children are supervised. There is unrestricted free parking in the lay-by directly outside the front of the cottage and there are always spaces available.
