The River Perch is a stunning renovation of a former tannery situated in the heart of the magnificent harbour town of Aberaeron, hidden away in a private residential area but yet in the centre of this vibrant town.
Built in the 1850s and once part of a complex of Victorian industrial buildings on the edge of the River Aeron, this stone building has been adapted many times over the decades. Sympathetically renovated, the property is a compact, cosy, characterful, colourful and extremely comfortable one-of-a-kind two-bedroom cottage with a riverside courtyard garden.
The perfect location to enjoy the delights of this beautiful town – you can dine at the Harbourmaster Hotel, enjoy lunch at The Cellar or have a honey ice cream on the harbour wall.
Everything is within a couple of minutes walking distance – from shops, pubs and cafes to the Ceredigion Coastal path and beaches. You can also walk or cycle along a path to Llanerchaeron National Trust.
Further afield, Aberystwyth and the Cambrian Mountains lie to the north and the many sandy beaches, rocky coves and fishing villages of Cardigan Bay a short distance to the south.

Enclosed courtyard garden right on the edge of the river. Picnic bench and four Adirondack armchairs. Please ensure children are supervised. Parking for 1 car on a shared driveway
