Access statement for The Old Granary

Pre-arrival:
• The local bus hub is in Finch Square, Cardigan, the nearest bus stop is outside Tesco (approx. 5-10 min walk).
• Taxis are a great way to get around. £4 single trip to Cardigan town.
• Mobile phone reception is good.
• Wireless internet access is available on request

Arrival and Car Parking:
• Your car is parked opposite The Old Granary, just a few yards to the cottage door.
• The road surface is concrete which leads to a paved patio. There is a small gentle step from the concrete to the patio and again into the cottage.
• There are two outside lights. One by the door and one on the patio.
• The cottage is a single storey building on the site of the Old Granary.
Inside:
• The front door leads directly into the lounge/dining room/kitchen area
• The lounge/dining room, bedroom and lobby are carpeted.
• The kitchen and bathroom are tiled
• The lounge has 3-seater settee with recliner, arm chair with recliner, bed settee, table lamp, wall lights and ceiling lights.
• The TV is digital with Freeview and has a remote control.
• The bedroom has a full size double divan with bedside cabinet either side each topped by a bedside light.
• The kitchen has a full size electric oven with separate grill, a full size electric hob, microwave, sandwich maker, cordless kettle, fridge/freezer, and sufficient crockery, cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses, etc.
• The bathroom has an enclosed shower, toilet and wash hand basin with mirror and shaver point. Towel rail and hooks for bathrobe.
• There are numerous leaflets, maps, books of walks, etc. for the use of our guests.
Outside:
• A large patio with table and chairs.
• Large garden.
• 11 acres of woodland with stream and designated trackways where dogs are free to roam.
• To the rear is a lockable shed for bikes, etc if required.
