“We had a lovely stay at The Old Dairy. The cottage is comfortable, clean, tidy and has everything you need. It was cosy and warm with comfy beds and plenty of hot water, the kitchen was well equipped and it was wonderfully quiet in a lovely, secluded area. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would stay there again.”

“It was all really good. Great having such good communication from the owners about directions, what we needed to bring...We had a lovely time despite our drizzly Welsh weather.”

“We stayed at The Old Dairy for just under one week, we couldn't fault the cottage. Arrived to a clean cottage, stocked with all you need plus a little extra -milk and Walsh Cakes, a nice welcome. The owners communicated brilliantly, putting us at ease.”

“The cottage is in a lovely location just outside Solva. The accommodation is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed the Welsh cakes that were waiting for us. The nearby woollen mill is well worth a visit.”

“Had a lovely stay at the Old Dairy which was perfectly located for a woodland feeling walk into Solva. The cottage was well equipped and comfy and light. Parking was great and the location superb.

Solva with its Harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants was delightful to roam around in and the coastal paths were right there for you to explore. We walked from the cottage to Solva and from there to St. Davids. This was a lovely walk following the coastal path with fantastic views.

St. Davids has plenty to offer and a further walk to St. Justinians was great to see where the boats go from for the boat trips offered. What is also great is that dogs are allowed on the buses, so my buddy could get a lift back after his big walk.

Picton Castle and Gardens are well worth a visit. These are the most beautiful gardens I have seen! It was tranquil and delightful to walk around the gardens, then a tour of the Castle was lovely and informative and pleasant. The food available there was gorgeous with a Spanish feel. There is also a Secret Owl Garden to visit.

Would highly recommend a stay here! xx”

“A comfortable cottage in a very peaceful location. Space outside for children to run around and explore. Not within walking distance of Solva but well placed to access so many beautiful parts of the Pembrokeshire coast and further afield.”

“Being 300 yards from the main road it was without doubt one of the quietest places I have ever stayed. It had everything one would need for a short break and for someone who enjoys cooking even the knives were sharp. Excellent shower, indeed it would be hard to find any faults with the property, well worth a visit.”

“The Old Dairy was in a peaceful and beautiful setting, we had a lovely walk from the cottage along the river and through the fields. It was within easy reach of lovely beaches and the coastal walk. We had an excellent meal in the pub in the village which was a short drive away. I would definitely come back for another break here.”

“Great little cottage. Accommodates 4 people but in reality probably better suited to 2 adults and 2 children (as the second bedroom has two bunk beds). In a very peaceful location.”

“This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and great if you're staying with dogs as there are some good walks from the door. The location is great - no light pollution so if you have good weather it's perfect for star gazing. Only a few minutes away (by car) from Solva with it's lovely pubs!”
