“Our 5 night stay at the Old Cottage was perfection. The cottage is warm and comfortable. Excellent electric shower, cute kitchenette, recliner sofa and chair, private garden space, and a private hot tub for our exclusive use. What more could one want? The farm on which the cottage is located has friendly animals such as horses, dogs, geese and chickens. The free range eggs were particularly delicious, and we had hours of fun playing with Jet, the black German shepherd who delighted in playing fetch. Jean and Norman were the perfect hosts, looking after our every need. Each day we headed to the coast for bracing cliff walks and spectacular scenery, however there is so much to do at the farm, we could easily have spent our days entertaining ourselves at the cottage. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Old cottage. The owners, Jean and Norman, are lovely people who made us feel welcome straightaway. The cottage was very comfortable and clean with all the essentials. There was a homemade cake in the kitchen for us and we had duck eggs and tomatoes from the greenhouse.
The farm animals kept us all entertained and the kids loved having the chance to feed them. But the stars were Jed and Monty - the two friendly dogs. Our kids went from feeling nervous about meeting them, to wanting to take them both home! Most of our holiday pictures are of Jed!
We made good use of the games room which is packed full of toys, board games, DVDs, TV, pool table…
The cottage is only a 10 minute drive away from Aberporth beach and its lovely views. It’s also not far from Cardigan town which has a castle. Opposite Cardigan castle by the river there’s a fab pizza place with a huge tipi to sit under and eat stone-baked pizzas.
We loved the fact that we could have a day on the beach and then go back to the cottage and hear ducks quacking and the rooster crowing! We’ll be booking the Old Cottage again next year. We’ve promised the kids!”

“The cottage itself is compact but very cute. However the farm, the animals, games room and friendly owners made our stay incredibly memorable. From the cake waiting for our arrival through to the friendly dogs we felt welcome and well catered for immediately upon our arrival.

The cottage is nicely located with plenty to see and do nearby.

Me and my three children loved our stay and hope to return again in the future.”

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old cottage. The owners of the cottage have well kept the whole area. The location was highly recommended to any family and the animals are well behaved and so friendly. I have chosen this cottage to spend my birthday away from my home in Scotland. it was a big surprise for me when the owner Mrs. Jean Kelly told us there is a cake is waiting for us in the kitchen. in fact, we reached the cottage at the midnight after a long drive and holding up in the traffic. The next three days we were blessed with 25 degrees hot sun, no wonder we just started our second day by organizing the natural barbeque in the beautiful garden and it went on until the dusk.”
