The Keep is a ground floor apartment just 400m from the beach in Manorbier, a peaceful Pembrokeshire village about 15 minutes from Tenby. Manorbier has easy access to the Coastal Path for first class walking and is in the Pembrokeshire National Park.

There is a delightful Norman castle in the village and the outstanding beaches of Barafundle and Freshwater East are nearby. A short drive away is the walled town of Tenby with its shops, restaurants, boat trips and museum.

Other popular places to visit include Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park and the castles at Carew, Pembroke and Picton.

Opposite The Keep at Lion House is a beach type cafe which is open for the hungry walker/surfer brigade for breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon teas. The village shop is open all hours and there is a nearby pub.

For those not wanting to drive there is a good bus service into Tenby and Pembroke. Manorbier Station which links to Swansea and the East is about a mile away.

Accommodation

The Keep sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 with bunk beds. The ground floor accommodation with adjacent car parking is ideal for a family with children or for less agile guests. The Keep is one of three apartments at Lion House, another is also a holiday let and the third is the owner's home.
