Access statement for The Hideaway

• A car is necessary as no public transport available
• Directions provided following booking
• Mobile phone reception varies according to supplier. Vodafone, EE, BT Mobile, Virgin Mobile known to work, but 02 poor signal. 4G mobile reception available from these providers, so a 'Dongle' will work for internet access if required. Nearest phone shops in Carmarthen.
• Guest WiFi access available, obtain password from us during your stay. NB We are at the 'end of the line' from the local exchange for telephone/broadband access and as such we can sometimes experience poor speeds
• Grocery deliveries available from Tesco store in Carmarthen

• Parking is available in driveway directly outside
• One small step at door

• 1 step up into en suite shower
• Electric by £1 coin meter (emergency lighting excepted) Initial supply of £5 provided

• Use of Summer House with uninterrupted views of Preseli Hills
• Fenced duck pond
• Outside tap and hose
• The Gardens are on terraced levels with some uneven pathways, with the Summer House at the lower level

• The nearest shops are approximately 5 miles away, pub 1 mile, with restaurant and takeaways 9 miles to the south at St Clears and Whitland.
• There is also a Leisure Centre 8.5 miles away with visitor day memberships available to use the facilities, including swimming pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi, with a coffee shop which provides a range of light meals, as well as breakfasts etc.

• We provide a laundry service to include washing and drying at £5 per load or £10 per load if ironing is required too

House rules for dogs:
• Sorry, no puppies or dogs likely to worry sheep
• Dogs must NEVER be left unattended in the cottage
• Dogs must NEVER be allowed in bedroom or on furniture
• You will have to clean up after your dog at all times all around our grounds
• We would request dogs to be on lead when walking along lane adjacent to property
