Set amidst 5 acres of peaceful gardens and woodland, The Grove is a character cottage on the country estate of Ty Poeth in the Cambrian Mountains. From the gardens, you look over the Dyfi valley on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. See where the River Dyfi and the Aran Fawddwy mountain range meet and lead out to the beautiful coast of Cardigan Bay.
From The Grove you are about half an hour from the dazzling mountain scenery of Snowdonia and the sandy beaches at Aberdovey, Ynyslas and Borth. You are only 10 minutes’ drive from the market town of Machynlleth - a busy place, steeped in history and home to the famous Centre for Alternative Technology.
The gardens at Ty Poeth were created a hundred years ago and have planted borders and an abundance of wildlife. There are four separate lawns, ideal for summer picnics and for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Paths lead through the woodlands and along terraces, perfect for strolls or for children to play.
There is a shop 4 miles away and a pub just one mile’s drive away. Each of the five semi-detached cottages at Ty Poeth has a private setting with garden views.
