This peaceful, rural retreat is only 15 minutes from the market towns of Lampeter, with its Welsh Quilt Centre, bars and restaurants, and wide choice of shops; and Tregaron, with its Red Kite Centre, local history museum, shops, cafes and pubs, including the award winning Y Talbot where you can enjoy a pint and an excellent meal. Ceredigion is ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities, with its dramatic coastline of beaches, seaside towns and villages; and wild mountainous inland areas. Close to the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail, with Hostel Ty’n y Cornel, Llanddewi Brefi being the closest Dark Sky Discovery Site. Watch red kites feeding at Bwlch Nant yr Arian, visit Cors Caron National Nature Reserve, try the thrills of mountain biking, the fun of snorkelling, or watching dolphins from a boat in New Quay bay. Alternatively, enjoy a Seafood Festival or honey ice cream in Aberaeron, or discover Roman gold and steam trains.
