Cosy cottage situated in the beautiful Teifi Valley near Henllan, Ceredigion. A perfect base to explore the local wildlife, beautiful beaches and towns of this stunning area. (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom)
Tegfan is a cosy, characterful 2 bedroom semi-detached cottage located in the Hamlet of Trebedw near Henllan, Ceredigion. Ideal for cosy winter evenings in front of the wood burner and usefully located for the summer months as a centre for various activities.
Hellan is a small village with plenty of interest, such as the Teifi Valley Railway, the beautiful National Trust Henllan Falls and a picturesque riverside walk along the Teifi.
You can also find a café at Celteg by Celtic Country Wines, a local winery where you can see wine, chutneys, marmalades and jams being made.
The property is situated less than 10 minutes from the busy market town of Newcastle Emlyn, which provides all necessary amenities and facilities from cafes and independent shops, takeaways and restaurants to pubs and bars. Visit the ruins of the 13th-century castle, which sits on an idyllic site, overlooking a loop in the River Teifi. The view is spectacular.
Just 5 minutes on, you get to the ever-popular Cenarth Falls, famous for its Salmon fishing and unique coracle fishing boats. You are also within half an hour of the beautiful sandy beaches at Aberporth, or if you want something more vigorous, the wonderful Preseli Hills. Tegfan is ideally suited to enjoy the wealth of beautiful beaches and stunning countryside that West Wales offers.
Tegfan sleeps 3 in 2 downstairs bedrooms: 1 double and 1 single room. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with limited mobility

Bedroom 2: single bed, chest of drawers, hanging clothes rail
Bathroom: shower, WC, hand basin
Living / Dining Room: 3-seater sofa, armchair, Smart TV/DVD, log burner, dining table seating 3, views towards the garden area.
Kitchen: electric oven and hob with extractor fan over, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, washing machine
To the front of the cottage is a large patio area with table and chairs and chiminea. Steps lead down to a lawned garden area. All bordered with flowers and shrubs. Driveway parking for 2 cars.
