“We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in its spectacular setting.

The views from the front of the cottage are wonderful and the little hill behind the cottage is an easy climb with a surprise at the top - an even better view of the surrounding countryside and the coast.

A real escape from the everyday.”

“The cottage is set in an idyllic position overlooking the spectacular cliffs and seascape of the Pembrokeshire coast.
It is a very cosy, well maintained and comfy property in which you immediately feel at home.
Perfectly located for coastal walks. Peaceful and quiet spot but within 15 minutes drive of the shops at Fishguard.
Watch out for the low doorways inside the cottage. Anybody over 5’10” could end up with sore head!”

“This is the perfect cottage for two, welcoming, warm, very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Its location and the breathtaking views from the cottage itself and the garden make it exceptional.”

“This cottage is perfect - a really cosy retreat. The owners left a lovely hamper of goodies, plus milk in the fridge. Even fresh flowers. We met both of them once and then they left us alone, but said not to hesitate to contact them if necessary ( it wasn’t). That made it feel even more like our own private home for the week. It is all thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. The view from the garden is wonderful and expansive- a delightful place to enjoy an evening drink as the sun went down with nothing to hear but the cows and the bees. I highly recommend this cottage: it is quite delightful in every way.”

“An absolutely gorgeous cottage with idyllic views. So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely coastal walks. The hamper was a lovely touch and so thoughtful. The owner Kathy is lovely and very helpful. My only criticism is you need a car to nearest shop but small price to pay for cosy accommodation.”

“In a word....perfect! A wonderful location looking out to sea and a haven of peace and tranquillity. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well-equipped and perfectly suited for getting out onto the coast path which runs about 50 m from the front door. If you want to get away from the frantic pace of 21st century life then this is the place to come. Highly recommended.”

“The perfect place for a getaway weekend despite the weather, the cottage was an ideal place to recharge your batteries. Lots of places to visit and fantastic walks available you just had to step through the door. The cottage was lovely a great deal of thought had been put into it to make your stay comfortable with a well stocked welcome pack and with milk in the fridge and coffee and tea in the cupboard.
Cathy could not have been more friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble.”

“This cottage is a little gem.
Views are stunning and the owner, Cathy, is a great host.
Plenty of nearby places to explore and visit. Loved the peace and quiet.
Cathy's cats will also welcome you and will make themselves at home, which we just loved.
Nearby lighthouse is stunning.
Can't wait to go back.”

“We have just had the most relaxing week away. Such a beautiful location and so very silent and quiet. We both needed to get away from the craziness of general life and we picked the perfect location to achieve this. The cottage was outstanding and we are already looking to see when we can visit again. Thank you to Cathy and Mike for opening up their home to others.”

“A very cosy, get-away-from-it-all bolthole with stunning panoramic sea views, surrounded by some of the best and wildest nature Pembrokeshire has to offer. Watch the Strumble Head light strobe across the fields and clifftops from the bedroom window when night falls. Wake up to the sound of silence save for sheep bleating and seagulls crying. Pack your walking boots and explore the coast path and tracks from your front door then, on a warm day, fire up the barbecue for spectacular alfresco dining. Bliss.”
