Family holidays include all the fun of walks on the coastal path and beaches at Newport, rock-pooling and crabbing, beach barbecues, kayaking, surfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, windsurfing to name but a few.

The pretty coastal village of Newport is 10 minutes away. There is a long sandy beach and rockpools there and another beach at Poppit Sands near St Dogmaels. The ancient river town of Cardigan (about 10 minutes) has the Cardigan castle, shops, cafes, theatre/cinema, riverside eateries, and the renowned Teifi marshes wildlife reserve.

Porpoises, dolphins and seals can often be spotted along the coast, and Puffins can be found on a visit to Skomer Island. There is so much to see and do in Pembrokeshire you’ll be spoilt for choice. It’s also the perfect place to relax and do nothing.

At The Old Swan Inn, we aim to be eco-friendly wherever possible and have beautiful timber A+ rated triple glazed windows and doors and have used natural, organic, traditional and low allergy paints and building materials in the cottage and grounds. Eco cleaning and laundry products are provided. To offset your journey we are planting trees, shrubs and wildflowers to continue to make the grounds more bee, butterfly, bird and hedgehog friendly.
