Sunnymeade in Newport Pembrokeshire overlooks the boathouse at the Parrog, having wonderful sea views to the front and views of Carningli mountain to the rear. Sunnymeade is the seaward half of a stone built, double-fronted Georgian house. A walk of less than 200m down the lane takes you to the shore and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path - if you resist stopping at the seafront café, perfect for lunch or afternoon tea in the sun! A short walk in the other direction brings you to the centre of the attractive village of Newport with its pubs, cafes and renowned restaurants, a good butcher, a health food shop selling delicious local produce, an interesting antique shop and various gift and craft shops.

Newport Bay has a wide sandy beach, perfect for swimming, sailing and other water sports. The coastline, which is part of the Pembrokeshire National Park, is one of the most beautiful stretches of cliff scenery in the British Isles. Directly behind Newport rises Carningli, a Celtic fort and outpost of the Preseli hills. The area is rich in history and in natural beauty, with wonderful walks, riding opportunities, bird watching and fishing. There is an 18 hole links golf course.

Sunnymeade sleeps 10 in 6 bedrooms: 2 doubles, one twin, two singles and a family room. This much loved family holiday home is ideal for a family get together with its two sitting rooms, attic family room and large garden.

The main room is open plan. The large sitting /dining area has an extending dining table and a multi fuel stove. The cosy kitchen has a 4 door gas Aga, another table, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The utility room has a washing machine, cold larder, extra fridge, freezer and sink. Also on this floor is a shower room which has internal and external access.

The drawing room with fabulous sea views has comfortable seating, a piano, flat screen Freeview TV, DVD player, lots of board games and an open fire. The twin bedroom has (fashionably!) a bath in the room and a basin. There is a separate toilet on this floor.

The master bedroom has more views up and down the coast. This bedroom has a king size (5’6”) bed and an en suite bathroom which also has separate access. Also on this floor are a single bedroom with a basin and a double bedroom with a 4’6” bed and a basin. This double bedroom also has wonderful views.

ATTIC (this floor can be closed off for smaller occupancy):
The family bedroom has one double (4’6’’) bed, a set of bunk beds, one single bed and a basin. Also on this floor is a single bedroom with a basin and a separate shower room.

At the back of the house is a patio area (a wonderful sun trap facing south) with outdoor eating area and barbeque. This leads into a 100ft walled garden, surrounded on two sides by the original walls, with lawn, flower beds and a ‘castle folly’. There is off road parking for one car and the public car park is just across the lane.
